What's the dress code?
Daytime formal. Suits in any color, tea or floor length dresses or dressy separates. The bridesmaids will be wearing shades of blue.
What is the venue like?
The Presidio is a historic Santa Barbara site owned and maintained by the Historic Land Trust. There are 4 bathrooms onsite (one is ADA accessible) but they are on the more rustic side. Keep in mind the orchard has slightly uneven ground.
What's the weather?
Santa Barbara in March is mild; daytime temperatures typically range from high sixties to low seventies, while evening temperatures can drop to mid fifties.
Will there be dinner?
We will have plentiful grazing tables, freshly baked empanadas, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and a cake cutting.
Are kids allowed?
Short answer: yes. Anyone included on your invitation is welcome to come. The reception will be held in the a courtyard orchard (so there is a bit of protection from street traffic). Email us if you have questions about bringing your kiddos.
Is there a registry?
Yes! We are registered at Crate & Barrel and REI, but just your presence at our wedding is the best gift!
